中国航空动力机械研究所位于湖南省株洲市，是我国中小型航空发动机、直升机减速系统及轻型燃气轮机的设计研制、试验基地。科研实力雄厚，拥有中国工程院院士一名，是国家授权的博士后工作站和硕士学位培养单位。较早地通过了军工产品质量管理体系认证及职业健康安全和环境管理体系认证。我所在搞好军品科研、生产的同时，努力开拓民品市场。在开发成功的项目中有多项成为进口的替代产品，80%以上的项目获得国家和部级科技进步成果奖。 1993年以来，成功研制出多系列智能电能表产品及配套产品，部分产品已获国家专利，完全拥有自主的知识产权，已具有年产100万台电能表的生产能力。产品行销全国多个省、市。经过多年的努力，凭借过硬的质量，优质的服务，良好的信誉赢得客户的信任。

    China Aviation Powerplant Research Institute (CAPI),a main design, development and test base of medium and smallsized ero-engines, helicopter transmission systems and light gas turbine engines, is situated in Zhuzhou city, Hunan province. It is authorized by the National Committee of Education as an nstitute that could confer the Master's Degree. It has passed the Militany Product Quality Assurance System Certification rather early. The Institute holds on to the principle of "Quality the foremost,Customers Satisfied & Continuous Imp-roving "in work, brings its polytechnic research into full play in the evelopment of civil products. It has several successful products , some of which have taken the places of input products of the same kinds.Eighty percent of the institute's civil projects have won awards from the State and /or the Ministry for great achievements in science and technology. Since the serial electronic Kilo watt-hour meters have been successfully developed and patented in 1993,the institute has independent intellectual property rights over the product, and develops a yearly prod-uctability of one million sets.
